Navy Trauma Training Center (NTTC)

Los Angeles General Medical Center is the formal trauma training center for the United States Navy.

NTTC is committed to providing didactic and clinical trauma exposure that enhances personal and team knowledge and skills. The course is designed to afford rotators the opportunity to work alongside Los Angeles General Medical Center and NTTC staff as teams caring for critically ill and injured patients. The 21-day training schedule includes clinical shifts, formal didactics, case discussions, simulator training and fresh tissue dissection labs.

This program is run by Keck School faculty and fellows, and it offers our residents and fellows valuable training as educators. Participants have the opportunity to teach military medical personnel how to respond in the event of traumatic injury.
