Dr. Lu Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC). Her expertise lies in statistical modeling and analysis of large-scale geographically referenced data, Bayesian statistics (both theory and methods), statistical computing, and related software development. Her current research interests focus on Bayesian spatial modeling algorithms for large-scale satellite data, variational inference algorithms, disease mapping and spatial transcriptomic data modeling.
