Center for Genomic Psychiatry (CGP)

The Center for Genomic Psychiatry (CGP) investigates the molecular and genetic causes of neuropsychiatric disorders. Within this broad scope, the Center supports projects ranging from basic research and resource development to targeted investigations of genetic variants in specific disorders and gene environment interactions.

James Knowles, MD, PhD, a psychiatrist and human geneticist and the Associate Professor Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry, is the CGP’s Scientific Director.
