The USC Department of Neurosurgery will be running the LA Marathon alongside stroke survivor, Kathy Nguyen. Her story continues to inspire others to raise awareness and support brain aneurysm research efforts. “Continuing to share my story, letting other survivors know it’s possible to run again, because I’ve been in their shoes was the ‘reason’ why I survived. If my story could inspire and give hope to others, I will continue to do so. That is also why I am coming back to run the Los Angeles marathon for the third time. This race will be forever part of me until I can no longer run again. Please help me continue to raise awareness for brain aneurysm research so more survivors can become inspirers.” Visit the fundraising page below to read about Kathy’s story and to donate.
