On June 29th, the Keck USC Stroke team participated in the 22nd Annual Proyecto Pastoral Women’s Conference in Boyle Heights. Over 400+ women attended workshops and lectures that focused on health, wellness and women empowerment. The team offered blood pressure screenings and stroke education to over 260 attendees, teaching the community about stroke warning signs, risk factors and stroke prevention.
