On July 24-25th, Steven Levine, MD, professor, vice-chair in the department of neurology and associate dean for clinical research and faculty development at the State University of New York (SUNY), visited the Roxanna Todd Hodges (RTH) Stroke & TIA program of USC. Dr. Levine was warmly welcomed by the Department of Neurology faculty, staff, fellows and residents at a reception and dinner in his honor at Phoenicia restaurant in Glendale. The following morning, Dr. Levine delivered a grand rounds lecture and discussed his work on Antiphospholipid Antibodies, Brain Infarcts & Cognitive & Motor Decline in Aging (ABICMA): A community-Based, Longitudinal, Clinical-Pathological Study. Dr. Nerses Sanossian, associate professor of neurology, director of neurocritical care and stroke and director of the RTH Stroke & TIA program at Keck awarded Dr. Levine with the 2017 Roxanna Todd Hodges Visiting Lectureship on Stroke Education and Prevention.
