Her research focuses on the effects of in utero exposure to HIV and antiretroviral medications among children and young adults, HIV-associated stigma and discrimination in healthcare settings, the impact of internalized HIV stigma on clinical and social outcomes, and resilience factors in women of color living with HIV in the era of COVID-19. She has published a number of peer-reviewed manuscripts on her research interests, and her work has been exhibited at various national and international conferences, including the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting & Expo, the United States Conference on HIV/AIDS, and the International Conference on Stigma.
