Finding USC researchers with active clinical trials has never been easier.

In an effort to highlight clinical trials expertise at USC, SC CTSI has launched a new feature to our local expert finder tool, USC Health Sciences Profiles. Now it is easy to discover faculty members and postdoctoral scholars in the health sciences who are involved in active clinical trials.

Researchers’ public profile pages automatically list their active clinical trials — see the example profile of Dr. Balekian (image 1). You can also search on the USC Profiles homepage (image 2) and filter down even further to search by USC health sciences school or disease area.

“We are among the first to integrate clinical trials expertise into a research networking tool. We hope that this will not only make it easier to identify clinical trials experts locally, but also, in the long term, aid nationally in the acceleration of multi-site trials,” said Katja Reuter PhD director of digital strategy at SC CTSI, who is leading the strategic development and implementation of the tool.
