Wednesday, November 5, 2014 — 2:00pm to 4:00pm

This workshop will explain the tenure decision process and the development of the dossier, including the responsibilities of the junior faculty member and the role of his or her school and/or department. It will also address expectations for achieving tenure and promotion with regard to scholarship, grants, teaching, creative work and other scholarly, artistic and educational endeavors. Members of the University Committee on Appointments, Promotions and Tenure (UCAPT) will lead the workshop and answer questions.
