Randy Hall, PhD, USC Vice President of Research, provides an important report produced by the University Research Committee and endorsed by the Academic Senate on Rigor and Transparency in the conduct of research at USC. Through the recommendations of the Academic Senate, USC aims to create an innovative institutional framework to raise the quality and impact of research produced at USC. We encourage you to read the report and recommendations on promoting transparency, encouraging good institutional practices, merit review and promotion considerations, participating in reproducibility work, and increasing visibility of the topic of reproducibility.
