USC Health, Emotion and Addiction Laboratory

The Health, Emotion, and Addiction Laboratory (HEAL) conducts translational research on the bio-behavioral (including genetic) determinants of drug addiction and other health-related behaviors to inform the development of novel, more effective interventions. The HEAL facilities are housed within the USC Institute for Genetic Medicine.
