Glen Miller was working recently as a consultant for a friend. Glen was reluctant to charge his friend, so they agreed instead that the friend would donate the fee toward Miller’s most recent gift in support Dr. Inderbir Gill’s research into kidney cancer. Dr. Gill saved Glen’s kidney seven years ago by removing a cancerous tumor.

“Over the years, we have contributed over $800,000 to Dr. Gill’s research and we have maintained a wonderful relationship with him,” Mr. Miller said. “He gave us a comfort level that only he can give. He cares so much and has great empathy. Life is good, thanks to Dr. Gill. And, thanks to my friend, I was able to convert this year’s $70,000 gift into $90,000.”
