Laura Mosqueda, MD, Dean of the Keck School of Medicine, has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “LA500” list of the most influential people in Los Angeles.
It was Dean Mosqueda’s third time appearing on the list.
The list also included Tom Jackiewicz, MPH, chief executive officer of Keck Medicine of USC; Rod Hanners, chief operating officer of Keck Medicine of USC and chief executive officer of Keck Medical Center of USC; and Paul Viviano, president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The LABJ story offers “the latest” about Dean Mosqueda:
“Named dean of the Keck School of Medicine at USC in May 2018, Mosqueda is the first woman to lead California’s largest medical school in its 135-year history. Since becoming dean, she created offices for community engagement, leadership/wellness and social justice. She also established the Center for Gender Equity in Medicine and Science.”
